“On Monday, my husband had two of his wisdom teeth removed. He was coming out of his anesthesia in the dentist office, when my mother and I jokingly started questioning him. He admitted that he kissed one of his co-workers. We thought he was kidding until he started going into great detail about what happened between them. Our laughter turned to anger. My husband later tried to backtrack and said he was joking and that it was the ‘anesthesia talking’. My mother and I are angry, heartbroken and shocked. Was my husband joking or not? Was the anesthesia a truth serum? What should I believe? Please help me.”
“People think my husband and I are crazy because we are leaning towards not allowing our young children to celebrate Halloween this year. The kids are excited about the holiday and want to buy costumes this weekend. My husband and I are against allowing them to celebrate this year because of the coronavirus and because it is a hypocritical holiday. We, as parents, spend 364 days of the year telling our kids not to talk or accept things from strangers. Then, on October 31st, we tell them it’s okay. Our friends and family think we’re delusional for canceling Halloween. Can you see our point? Are we crazy? Would you do the same thing if you were us?”
